Top pattern from a grat company
Ive already made 4 tops and one dress from this pattern. Thanks so much TATB. I finally frel like i know how to gather and do binding!
Yet again Tilly has done it, another great versatile pattern with so many options. I have only sewn 2 of the basic Leah tops but the instructions are clear and very precise (as always) and the top is great for the current heatwave in the UK. Thank you Tilly x
Hi Jacqui, thanks so much for your lovely review! It’s so great to hear how much you’re enjoying the pattern - your tops are beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing your future versions of the Leah dress! Happy sewing, Virginija x
As usual T&B pattern comes with easy to follow ,clear concise instructions and qr code. I made the peplum top and lengthened the top half by 5cm. I didn't like using bias binding for the neck and armhole, so my next Leah I will make a neck and armhole facing.
Enjoyed the make and looking forward to making a few more including the dress. It's a very lovely pattern.
Hi Nora, thanks for your lovely review! It’s so great to hear you’re enjoying the pattern and planning to make more versions - I’m looking forward to seeing them too, and I hope you enjoy wearing the beautiful one you’ve already made! Happy sewing, Virginija x
I have just made the Leah shift dress and it looks great. It was very enjoyable to make and easy to do. I do not usually wear short dresses but had a small amount of strawberry cotton fabric from my stack. I am really pleased how it turned out and will wear on when it hot and sunny I enjoyed making it so much I have also made the tier tied side dress which looks lovely. In both versions I made self bias binding which is much easier to create than it looks. Thanks for making a very versatile pattern that has clear instructions and is fun to make. My only concern is that the ties on tiered dress may come undone with movement.
Hi Deborah, thanks so much for your lovely review! It’s so great to hear how much you enjoyed sewing up the pattern that you even made another version - they’re both absolutely gorgeous! I hope you’re enjoying wearing them in the heatwave we’re currently experiencing. It’s worth making a double knot first to ensure you’re all secure in your top. Happy sewing, Virginija x
