MODEL SIZES - Zeena (pink and blue dresses) wears size 3 (UK 10) graded to size 2 (UK 8) at the hips; Alexandra (black top) wears size 6 (UK 16) at the bust and waist graded to size 7 at the hips (UK 18). Bethany (check top) is wearing a size 12 (UK 28).

Great for beginners

I made the stevie dress with neck ties, cuffs and pockets for my first dressmaking project. There’s lots of tutorials available on YouTube. It took me much longer than other reviewers (4/5 days of sustained multi-hour sewing sessions)!!but I was very happy with the results and other people can’t believe I sewed it myself! I’d recommend watching the YouTube tutorial if doing the arm cuffs. I bodged that bit up. Still looks great though.

Easy looking pattern

I havent used the pattern yet, it’s on my to do list.
It looks very simple & versatile. I think it will look smart or casual depending on fabric used. I love the idea I saw on Pinterest of having the neck ties at the front.

Summer sews

Loved making my Stevie! Did a summer dress for my holiday. I bought the add ons so will try that in a different fabric for autumn. Love the clear instructions and accompanying you tube videos!
