There’s something rather special about sewing your own jacket. It’s an elaborate project, with lots of satisfying details – and the finished garment is something you can wear and feel proud of for years to come.

In this improver-level online video workshop, bestselling sewing author and teacher Tilly Walnes will guide you through each step of making a fully lined Manon jacket. From welt pockets and convertible collars to tailoring sleeves and bagging out the lining, there are lots of juicy techniques to get stuck into that will level up your garment sewing skills.

By the end of the class, you’ll have a jacket you’ll love wearing, plus a whole new toolkit of level sewing skills to use on future projects.
